5 Things for 10.25.11, a day late

Are you in St. Louis? If you are than you know about the unseasonably warm weather we had yesterday. Highs in the mid 80's and to top it off the best wind ever for taking leaves off of trees. It was pretty magical, listening to leaves fall all day. We spent the day soaking it all up...

1. Collecting seeds. Morning Glories, Rose of Sharon (not like we need any more of this, but the boy enjoyed it). We talked a little about how seeds are spread and he stood on his chair, spread his arms out and shouted "THANK YOU WIND!!!" The wind replied with a great big gust that blew our seeds away.

2. The sweet fall sky. So perfect that I packed the boys in the car, got myself a coffee and went for a drive. They quickly fell asleep so I went extra far in hopes of getting a great deal on some apples at a little farm on the outskirts of St. Charles. $8 for 2lbs. Really? We passed on that.

3. Apple Crisp for knit night. I couldn't wait and had to sneak a bite or two.

4. The weather. Warm enough to keep a baby dressed like this all day.

5. Turkish Lamb Stew. Great way to end the day. Here's the recipe I used.
