Here is my daily dilemma (almost daily anyway)... I want to write a blog about something I/we've done today. Hmmm... let's see, I need to take a picture or two, crap the lighting is bad because it's 11pm/cloudy/etc. Umm... what do I want to say that seems to be something that is completley mine to say? (I mention this because when you are following various other blogs it can be hard not to write a post inspired by what they've just written about.)
One could say I lack inspiration and time these days. but I hate saying that I lack inspiration, because it is definitley all over my house, outside, in the people I know, etc. But fear not, I've come up with a solution to both of those things. I'm calling it 5 Things for 5 Weeks. So everyday, for five weeks I'm going to write a little post about what we've done, what's for dinner, what I'm thinking, etc. No theme necessary, somedays there might be a picture, other days paragraphs, and somedays when time is so fleeting, just a blurb or two. For me this should inspire something, hopefully it's not blog related stress. And on that note, what's a blog for anyway? Or should I say what is my blog for? I don't think many people read it (Hi Mom! Hi Dad!) so shouldn't it be just for me. My journal, that I just happen to post online for millions (fat chance) of people to read. So if you happen to be searching for "Yew Berries"* you might end up here and find out what we've been up to.
1-Uh, the baby pulled up to standing today. He's also unplugged the record player. We've got to keep a close eye on that one.
2- My newest internet obsession Pintrest has got me in the mood for sewing, so I did some sewing. Really just pants for Abe, that are made from one of Declan's old sweaters. He has worn them for the past 23 hours. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say he likes them. Here is a link to the tutorial.
3- I've been secretly watching Sister Wives on Netflix. I want one.
Yes, I just said that.
4- Speaking of sewing, my Mom lent me her new machine. A-freaking-mazing! I thought I couldn't sew. I thought it was the one (well one of the many things) that I will never be good at, but turns out it's just a shitty machine issue. People that buy me Christmas presents, this could be something we all fo together, wink, wink. Or I can just keep borrowing yours Mom, that's good with me.
5- Declan starts a new job Friday! More teaching, more special ed. That sort of thing.
Well that was easy. See you tommorow for more!
*A couple of years ago I posted something about Abe eating a yew berry and us ending up in the hospital because of it. Well when I looked at my blog traffic flow, it is in the top 10 of ways that people end up on site. Go try it, google yew berry and see if you wind up back here. Hey this might help... yew berry, yew berry, yew berry.

Some of us are reading, and loving knowing what is happening in Ariel world! Yeah for conquering the sewing machine! Exciting for babies growing and doing things early! I see trouble in your future!
I like Sister Wives, I want one too. I think the thing that surprises me about the show is how close the wives are to one another and how creepy I think Cody is.
