Always room for one more

Have you ever read that book Always Room for One More? It's based on a Scottish song that tells the tale of a family that is always letting more and more people into their home until one day their home falls apart because of all of it's new inhabitants. Our home seems to be running parallel to the story these days, and I am only hoping that ours doesn't collapse as well.

So we've got Declan and I, the two kids, Wes and Michelle, their dog Sailor, our cat Jasmine, our dog Nemo, about 20 something pigeons that are continually having more babies (the hawks seem to be keeping their population in check though), Wes' three snakes, and now we've added a turtle (Tortie) to our kin.

Ahh... there is really nothing like a constantly moving household and I mean that with all sincerity and love.
